Bastei – Saxony Switzerland – After strolling through the abyss we went straight to Bastei. During my search for a composition which has not been posted million times, the sun went down with her last golden breath. And then I found this spot 🙂

Second night at Berchtesgaden and my last chance to get a view at the Milky Way.I couldn’t sleep. Woke up at 1 o’clock in the morning and drove away to the nearby mountains. After 2 hours of test shots the milky way center appeared and it looked like the city below was projecting it into the sky… I got 2 shots and then the clouds appeared before the stars lined up in a higher angle. Difficult lighting conditions, but at least I have now a memory burned in my head also on my harddisk 🙂
